Two weeks ago my husband was in a serious accident on his
way to work. It was in the early morning hours and a truck
was standing half in the road with no hazzards, ligths or triangles.
Some of its load was laying on the road and he was blinded
by oncoming traffic. As he couldn't see the truck or its load, he
airborned over the load and missed the truck and the oncoming two cars
literally by centimetres........
He was so in shock that when he called me he was out of his
bakkie in the bushes about 20km from the accident scene.
Because of the shock he kept on driving until his bakkie
stopped by itself due to the damage caused by the impact.
He was crying and didn't know where he was or what to do.
I tried to calm him to try and find out where he was as he could be anywhere
between Humansdorp and Stormsrivier. (he was on his way from PE to George)
He was almost for an hour and a half on his own before the Police
could find him.
While i was waiting for my daughter's boyfriend to come and
pick me up to go to the accident scene, we started praying for
my husband. Lelani, my oldest daughter was praying, and she
asked God to protect her daddy and THAT HE COULD
EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE OF JESUS
there where he is on his own, in shock, not
knowing what to do and where he is.
The devil was trying to take his life but God decided it was
not death's time. His hand was on Barry that day and we're
so thankful for the blood of Jesus and the protection
there is in His Mighty Name. It was only by the grace of
God that his bakkie didn't roll or that he got any serious injuries.
Later that day i took him to George with the car and as
we past the accident scene and we saw the skid marks in daylight
I was in awe for what God did for us that day.
We talked about the accident and my husband told me
while he was in the bushes crying and he didn't know what to
do and he felt so fearful and alone, HE SUDDENLY FELT
SOMEONE PUT HIS HAND ON HIS RIGHT SHOULDER.
I believe that it was the exact moment my daughter was praying
that her dad should experience the presence of Jesus Christ.
Thank you God that Your Grace is sufficient for us.
JUST THE TOUCH OF YOUR MIGHTY HAND LORD JESUS,
AND OUR LIVES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME....
